Why do web-pattern coasters sell as sets?

Coaster questions

Can printed coasters handle hot drinks?

PLA can soften with heat, so PETG is a safer choice for hot cups. Even then, say in your listing that coasters are for everyday drinks and not for hot pans, and test one before you sell.

How do I stop coasters from sticking together?

Print a slightly textured top or add small felt pads under each one. A thin sheet of paper between coasters in a stack also prevents rubbing and keeps paint or color from scuffing during shipping.

What size should a coaster be?

Choose a size that covers the base of a standard mug and a glass. Measure a few cups at home, then test a printed sample. A slightly generous diameter feels sturdier and shows more of the pattern.
