About Etsi3D

Etsi3D helps 3D printing sellers find designs they can print and sell, with a commercial license that makes the rules clear. This page explains who runs it and why.

Who runs Etsi3D?

Etsi3D is run by Adel Ayari, a mechanical engineer who has spent his whole career around manufacturing and 3D printing. He speaks Arabic, French and English, and he is based in Marseille, France.

Background in engineering and 3D printing

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from ISET Radès.
  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University in Germany.
  • Worked as a supplier-side engineer, making parts used by Airbus and Bombardier.
  • Worked in manufacturing sales in Germany.
  • Founded a 3D printing company, grew it to more than 50 industrial printers, and sold it in 2018.
  • Today he is also co-founder and CEO of SeekMake, an instant quoting platform for manufacturing shops.

Why Etsi3D exists

Running a print farm teaches one hard lesson: a printer only makes money when it prints something people want to buy. Many sellers lose time on designs that do not sell, or on files they are not allowed to sell. Etsi3D was built to fix both problems with one bundle of models and one clear license.

What the license allows

With the bundle you can print the models and sell the physical prints, on Etsy or anywhere else. You cannot resell, share or upload the STL files themselves. See the details on the bundle access page and the pricing page.

Guides for print sellers

The blog shares practical advice from real shop work, such as turning a 3D printing hobby into a business, bundling prints to raise order value and planning stock around the seasons.
